How to guarantee your wedding will be a success

To put it simply, it all comes down to the TEAM behind your DREAM.

You may have the perfect vision for your wedding and be so organised but the EXECUTION is what really matters.

It is vital for the success of any wedding, to have a great team of professionals by your side who can bring your vision to life. Your vendors need to “get” you and your vibe. Not only that, they also all need to work well together on the day, rather than just individually.

Being a wedding planner for 12 years now, I don’t recommend vendors to couples until I get to know my couples and their personalities first, then it is easy to recommend the perfect suppliers for their wedding. I only recommend vendors I trust, who are reputable and who I know won’t let my couples down. They go above and beyond to make each wedding a success and bring to life the couples’ vision. If you know me, how I run my business and my high standards, you will know that I strive to never disappoint and only exceed my couple’s expectations. This is what I look for when working with vendors, the same work ethics, the same high standards. We are not called professionals in our industry for no reason.

The best thing you can do after selecting your vendors is to trust in their work, their skills and allow them to be themselves. That way you are not limiting their creativity, they can provide a quality service which will shine through their work.

The Blue Mountains is full of hidden gems, venues and local wedding suppliers. Long Alley Barn definitely being one of the hidden venues. It is the perfect location for an intimate elopement and also has onsite accommodation providing a romantic getaway for couples in its modern barn. As for ceremony and reception locations onsite, the choices are endless.

I recently had the pleasure of being part of a photoshoot at Long Alley Barn where creativity was in the air. Each vendor played their part in making it a fun and successful photoshoot. The brief was executed effortlessly on the day as it was well thought out, discussed and planned as a team prior to the day.

Everything was discussed, from the timing of hair and makeup, the time the sun would set for golden hour lighting, contingency plan for wet weather etc.

We are all thrilled to be part of a close-knit group of wedding professionals in the Blue Mountains. Many of us are award winning vendors, with years of experience under our belts, to bring you only the best of the best.

Our vision was to come together as a wedding team highlighting our collective skills within the space of a new & unique boutique venue set within a native bushland environment in The Blue Mountains utilising a real couple that had just been married, but whose wedding was marred by the weather.

This is the amazing team who was involved in the photoshoot.
