Whether you've booked the full wedding planning package or the day coordination services, an onsite visit is an important part to making sure the day goes as planned. If you've booked day coordination: This is a meeting 2-3 months before your wedding day to discuss the run-sheet, wedding day schedule and site plan as well as to look at vendor bookings and to see what else needs to be done. This ensures nothing is forgotten and no small detail is missed. We will walk around the venue with you to get an idea of the layout plan and what needs to be done on the day for various vendors to achieve your desired look. It's also an opportunity to meet with the venue coordinator if they have one to answer any questions. If you've booked the full wedding planning package: We will usually do 2 site visits throughout the planning process. The first visit will be soon after you've chosen your venue to begin planning the look you would like to achieve and what might be possible. This is a creative meeting where we will help you to start designing the look, feel and colours of your wedding. The second visit will be similar to the day coordination one. It is usually done within 2-3 months of your wedding day and goes over all the small details, the run-sheet, wedding day schedule and site plan. We will also go over the vendors you've booked and make a list of anything that still needs to be done. PLEASE NOTE: When booking a site visit, we can only offer our availability. We will need to confirm the venue is available at the same time before confirming the time and date with you. Should they not be available, we will work with both you and the venue to get a time that suits everyone. If you need to cancel your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so we can communicate with the venue. Onsite visits usually last for about an hour.
