DREAMY TUSCAN-INSPIRED WEDDING AT REDLEAF, HUNTER VALLEY

Tucked into the rolling vineyards and olive groves of the Hunter Valley, Redleaf provided the most idyllic backdrop for Naomi and Nic’s wedding day. Inspired by the romance of Tuscany, the venue’s charming architecture, terracotta tones, and manicured gardens made guests feel as though they’d stepped into the Italian countryside — without ever leaving New South Wales.

From the moment we began planning with Naomi and Nic, it was clear that their vision was all about understated elegance, timeless style, and a relaxed yet elevated atmosphere. Every detail was considered, and our job was to make sure it all came to life seamlessly on the day.

A Ceremony Beneath the Trees

The couple exchanged vows beneath the dappled light of Redleaf’s towering trees, with the Tuscan villa peeking through in the distance. We worked closely with their florist to create an effortlessly romantic floral arrangement that framed the moment beautifully, using soft neutral tones and trailing greenery that complemented the natural surroundings without overpowering them.

A Celebration Full of Heart (and Aperol)

The courtyard came alive for cocktail hour, where guests sipped on chilled Aperol Spritz and enjoyed antipasto as the sun began to dip behind the hills. Long tables were later revealed beneath the festoon lights, set with crisp white linens, natural textures, and rows of bud vases and tapered candles to create a warm, intimate atmosphere reminiscent of a European summer evening.

Styling That Let the Location Speak

For this wedding, less was definitely more. Our approach to styling was intentional and refined — allowing Redleaf’s rich terracotta exterior, climbing vines, and open-air spaces to shine. We focused on subtle layering: champagne-toned napkins, soft draping, and hand-lettered signage to tie the whole look together. It was the perfect blend of classic and contemporary, with a nod to slow, European-style living.

What made this day truly special was Naomi and Nic themselves. Grounded, kind, and so clearly in love — they trusted us to take the reins on the day so they could soak in every moment. And that’s exactly what they did.

It was such a joy to coordinate their celebration from start to finish, ensuring everything ran smoothly behind the scenes so they could focus on what mattered most. From welcoming guests to their villa accommodation, to managing the flow of the day, our team was there every step of the way to ensure a stress-free and beautiful experience.

I don’t think words can truly express how grateful we are to have found Natalie and Jody. Working with them the past year to bring together the wedding of my dreams was such a pleasure. Our wedding saw many many bumps along the way, to which Natalie would always have the perfect solution too. The night before our wedding our life painter had called in sick and Natalie took contacting every painter she knew to find a replacement at the last minute. She was an actual wonder woman.

The attention to detail, before and during the day was heartwarming. It really meant the world to me having two people there who genuinely cared about making the things I cared about happen. As Natalie once said to me: “if that’s what you want, we will make it happen”.

Natalie was all over any task I would offload to her which really helped bring my mind to ease and I am so grateful to have no had to worry about myself.

We didn’t know much about wedding planners before planning our own wedding but now I would recommend Natalie and Jody to everyone I encounter as we were truely blown away by how professional and efficient they were at their job. Throughout the night I would look for Natalie or Jody if I needed something or had any issues but they were already all over it before I even finished the thought. A personal highlight was getting so excited when I would see their faces throughout the wedding night as I felt like I had gained two new friends. I’m going to miss them both so much!
